First Nation Cultural Centres contribute to positive self-image and self-esteem, continuity with the past, a distinctive identity in the present and a legacy for the future for our nations, our communities, our existence and survival as the First People, First Languages and First Cultures of Canada.
The First Nations Confederacy of Cultural Education Centres is a non-profit national organization comprising of eighty seven Cultural Education Centres which are located in every part of the country and represent the cultural diversity among First Nations. The First Nations Confederacy of Cultural Education Centres is a unified voice that leads in the preservation and maintenance of our languages, cultures and traditions as given by the Creator.
